1 – How do I apply for a position?

Application should be made via the careers section  on the website.  All live vacancies are listed there and it is an easy process to follow.

2 – I have applied online, what happens now?

You will be contacted by a member of the Recruitment Team if your application is to be taken further.

3 – Who can I contact if I have any questions?

You should direct any queries to jobs@ocean-rig.com and a member of the recruitment team will respond.  CV’s/Resumes should not be sent to this address as they will be not be reviewed.

4 – I have no offshore experience, what can I do?

Ocean Rig can only hire experienced candidates in the disciplines required. Deepwater drilling requires experienced personnel.

5 - Do you hire at entry level?

Sorry, Ocean Rig does not hire at this level.

6 – Do you have a graduate/ Trainee program?

There is a Management Trainee Programme and applications for this will be invited via the website when there are positions available.

7 – Where does Ocean Rig operate?

Ocean Rig operates internationally and currently we have vessels operating offshore Norway, Brazil and West Africa.

8 – How do I update my application?

You can do this easily via the careers page, log in and follow the on screen instructions.

9 – Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes, there are no restrictions on how many vacancies you can apply for.

10 - The job I would like to apply for is not listed – what can I do?

If there are no suitable vacancies listed it means we have no current or immediate future requirements for this discipline. Please feel free to visit our website regularly for updates.
