Ultra Deep Waters and Harsh Environment - The Bingo 9000 Concept
Our two fifth-generation semi-submersible drilling rigs, Leiv Eiriksson and Eirik Raude, are based on our proprietary Bingo 9000 design. They represent cost-effective solutions for exploration and development drilling in ultra deep water and harsh environments.
Special consideration has been given to creating a safe working environment. Both units are environment-friendly, with zero discharge systems and low emissions. The DP-3 dynamic positioning system has proven its station-keeping abilities under extremely testing conditions off eastern Canada, and provides superior performance in harsh environments.
